Throughout the years, the Magma’s brands have grown to include a wide variety of quality products that all meet the high fire safety standards customers come to expect from Magma around the globe.
The Magma Firestop® trademark represents an extensive range of high quality fire retardant fluids and powder blends especially intended for treatment of organic materials.
Whether for solid timber, wood veneers, textiles or natural insulation material Magma Firestop® products have a proven track record and cover a wide range of possibilities.
High quality and great care in developing and manufacturing products of the Magma Firestop® product line guarantees highly efficient and reliable formulations. Magma Firestop® offers customized effects for market-ready and competitive end products.
Magma supplies a range of fire retardant coatings which are marketed under the trademark Magma Firesheen®. These coatings are suitable for fire protective applications of board materials like MDF, Particle board & Low Density Softboard but also suitable to coat solid timber. Materials coated with Magma Firesheen® are only suitable for interior usage.
The InnoShield® range of coatings are designed to finish fire retardant treated wood.
Exterior used, FR treated wood needs to be finished with a weather protective coating to avoid leaching of the fire retardant chemicals. Most solvent based coatings can be used to finish FR treated wood but standard water based coatings are most of the time not suitable.
Another important issue is that most standard paints are flammable and it’s possible that FR treated wood which complies with the required fire standard suddenly does not comply anymore after the coating application.
The InnoShield® DRF system has been especially developed to guarantee a longer term sustainability of the fire classification. These special coatings provide a durable and a long lasting moisture barrier with low dirt pick up.
Under the InnoChem® trademark, Magma developed some chemical surface treatment products that can be used in combination with our fire retardant products or as an additional treatment product for the industries and materials we serve already.
These include our moisture repelling barrier products for a variety of surfaces and cleaning products for Thatched roofs and wooden surfaces.
